Bauska Castle
Latvia
(15th century) - located at a strategic location where the rivers Musa and Memele merge to form the river Lielupe, it was a stronghold of the Livonian Order and later the seat of the dukes of Kurzeme. Now the impressive ruins remain a romantic place for walks and concerts. The tower commands a panoramic view and the renovated section houses a museum.
