Riga Dome Cathedral

One of the biggest cathedrals in the Baltics and an important cultural and historical monument in Latvia. The cathedral contains several historical layers – Romanesque, gothic and baroque as well as many valuable artworks. The interior has medieval decorations, tombstones, paintings, a superb organ, pulpit, stained glass and more. The Cathedral is shared between the Dome congregation and Riga History and Navigation Museum and serves as a concert hall where organ music concerts regularly take place. The Dome is a seat of the Archbishop of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church.
